Firewall Administrator

Requirements:

• Fluent English language is a must


• Checkpoint Firewall operation of firewall gateway running Checkpoint version R70 to R75


• Checkpoint (former Nokia) Ipso 6.2 operation


• Oracle Solaris based sever operation


• IP configuration, switching and routing technologies


• MS office incl. Visio


• Proactive team player


• Good communication skills (internal and external)


• Flexible


• Willing to work with different cultures


• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays and out of office hours (7x24 operating time)


• German language would be an advantage

Main activities:

• Operation of perimeter security infrastructure components with the main focus on Checkpoint Firewall devices.


• Check of device logs for security, OS or HW related issues.


• Check and configuration of device monitoring


• Maintenance of security policies defined for the infrastructure components.


• User Management


• Patch and update implementation
